This is a nice F-150 Lariat 4-wheel drive flareside pickup truck. I have owned it for about 2 years. I don’t have any need for a truck anymore, so I would like to sell it and get a smaller car.
The truck runs great! There are no mechanical issues of any kind, and it looks pretty sharp too!
The truck has the Lariat package and many options. Features include…5.4L Triton V8, remote engine start, factory security alarm, automatic transmission, air conditioning, 6-disc in-dash CD changer, power windows and locks, power driver’s seat, power steering and brakes, push-button 4WD, off-road package with full skid plates, rear sliding window, gray leather interior, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, keyless entry with door keypad, overhead console with compass and temperature, bed liner, Anti-lock brakes, automatic headlights, fog lights, tow package, trailer brake, white and silver 2-tone paint, chrome sidesteps, lighted Lund moonvisor, Husky floor liners in front.
Since I have owned the truck I have done the following…new upper and lower ball joints (a biggie when it comes to the F-series trucks), inner and outer tie rod ends, alignment, new OEM spark plugs, new u-joint, rear end flush and reseal, new Monroe Reflex (nice!) shocks all around, new front brake lines, new brake rotors all around, new ceramic brake pads all around, and a K&N air filter installed.
The only issues with the truck worth mentioning are that there is a small tear/wear spot on the driver’s seat, and there is no muffler on the truck. It had no muffler when I bought it, and I have never replaced it…doesn’t bother me. In Greeley, CO we are no longer required to do an emissions test, so it doesn’t matter. If emissions is required where you live, then you will need to put a muffler on it. All of the tailpipe is included, so just a muffler would need to be installed. The camper shell is not in the best condition…but it is functional! If you don’t want it, we can remove it easily. The exterior shows average wear for a 2000 model truck. Tire tread is about 40-50%. The windshield is cracked. Everything else is good…
The truck has 135,xxx miles on it. The 5.4L Triton V8 commonly runs without issue for at least twice that.
This is a great truck with many years of service left in it. The 4-wheel drive works great. The engine runs strong, and the transmission shifts great also. There are no fluid leaks. The backseat and 4 doors make this a great truck for work or for the whole family!
